The Law of the Land
So, we have a few rules to follow around here. Now, I don't like lots of rules, so we'll try to keep it simple. Bear with me. These rules are meant to be a general set of guidelines that can be generalized to any situation that may arise.
1) Absolutely no explicit sexual content.
There's nothing wrong with a sex scene in an RP. However, there is no reason to go into detail about what occurs during the scene. Not here, anyway. While sex scenes can be critical turning points in plot and character development, that doesn't mean you need to describe the entire scene in detail. Keep it PG-13. the site is visible to minors.
2) No spamming.
For the purpose of the rules, any topic placed outside its appropriate section of the forum will be considered spam. At first, you'll be warned and your thread moved to the correct place. If it becomes a regular issue, you may be placed on moderated status, or banned. Let's try to keep the place tidy.
3) Don't be a dick.
If you're a dick or a moron, we won't protect you from the community's response. We won't protect you from bigots - they have an opinion and every right to voice it - but we won't be protecting bigots from the community either. This is the Internet. Get used to it. That said, try to keep the bull where it belongs.
4) Don't break the forum.
Don't post huge images in [img] tags, link to them. Also, please keep signatures under 500Hx700W pixels.
Basically, keep the place neat and clean, and treat others as you'd want to be treated.
Miscellaneous extras:
- Moderators (Mesanian Soldiers) and Administrators (Mesanian Nobility) reserve the right to alter or delete posts as they see fit.
- Soldiers and Nobility reserve the right ban anyone, at any time, for any reason, including no reason at all.
- If you are placed on moderated status or banned, you may dispute it with Nobility. Mods and Admins are human, and sometimes make mistakes and let emotion get the better of us. We may decide we've been overzealous.
- Don't double post, just edit your existing post. Double posting will be considered spam.
- There is no reason to own multiple accounts, with the exception of Mods or Admins who want to have a separate account for day-to-day use. Anyone else found with multiple accounts will have one banned at random.
